Be a star behind the scenes! The Skull and Bones drama club offers its members to play a big role in the inner-most workings of its productions. Be it on the stage crew, beautifying the performers, constructing and painting the sets, managing the props, running the house, or programming the light and sound boards, the members of the crew are the backbone and magicians of every production.
Management

Lighting
With the push of a button, a lighting technician can make daytime appear indoors or create an atmosphere of intense cold. Light guides the audience's attention and creates powerful and subtle effects.
Construction and Painting
With hammers, screws, muslin, brushes, paint, and a lot of elbow grease, builders and painters, under excellent supervision, design and bring forth the physical world of the stage out of nothingness.
|
Sound
Even actors need to be lent a voice at times, and sound technicians work diligently to ensure that the actors are heard clearly at all times. Other duties include sound mixing and creating recordings for sound effects.
Properties
Locating and creating the items that characters need to continue and enhance their scenes is a creative task. Properties masters organize, collect, design, and maintain the quality of the objects that appear onstage.

Costumes, Hair, and Makeup
With the stroke of a brush, and teenager can become a spinster. With some extra padding, one can go from perfect posture to being a hunchback. The artists of the costumes, hair, and makeup department make the actor the character.
|
House
A solid and well-conceived lobby design coupled with welcoming ushers and friendly salespeople help the audience to achieve a peaceful and excited mood leading up to and during a performance.
